We offer several scholarships and grants to help families access Catholic education throughout the Diocese of Joliet. The application process depends on the type of assistance you are seeking, but all applications begin with FACTS.

Families seeking need-based assistance begin with one online application through FACTS, our third-party financial grant management company.
There are a number of other scholarships available with separate requirements. Rising freshmen and students whose parents are teachers may qualify for additional aid.
The Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship has a separate application process for eligible eighth-grade students preparing to enter a CEF-supported Catholic high school.
Applicants should review the scholarship criteria carefully and allow enough time to complete all required materials.

The Classroom Angel Grant recognizes the dedication of Catholic school teachers and the important role they play in forming students academically and spiritually. Through this program, the Catholic Education Foundation provides a $1,000 tuition grant to eligible children in grades K-12 of full-time teachers employed at one of the diocesan schools. By easing a portion of their family's tuition costs, the Catholic Education Foundation hopes to express its gratitude for teachers' commitment to Catholic education and the lasting difference they make each day. The Classroom Angel guidelines and instructions will be sent to schools in January.

Note: If a grant or scholarship has been awarded, the Catholic Education Foundation distributes awards directly to the students' schools.
CEF manages a number of scholarships established by donors for students who meet specific requirements.
Families DO NOT NEED to complete an additional application for these scholarships.
When you submit the appropriate CEF need-based assistance application, CEF considers eligible students for available restricted and endowed funds based on the criteria established for each scholarship.
